The Southwest Montana Building Industry Association is the number one advocate for communities in Southwest Montana. SWMBIA is a catalyst for bringing our community together through home building, neighborhood development, and all-around making our community vibrant. We support their annual Parade of Homes event.

The mission of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is to ensure the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat and our hunting heritage. In support of this mission, the RMEF is committed to: conserving, restoring and enhancing natural habitats; promoting the sound management of wild elk, which may be hunted or otherwise enjoyed; restoring elk to their native ranges; and educating members and the public about habitat conservation.
Warriors in Quiet Waters provides traumatically injured U.S. servicemen and women from Iraq and Afghanistan with a high quality restorative program, utilizing the therapeutic experience of fly fishing on Montana waters. WQW brings wounded warriors to Montana for a six-day program of fly fishing and recreation. Most warriors who come are still in rehab in the military hospital system. Once here, they have the opportunity to relax and to learn to fly fish in the quiet and beautiful surroundings of Montana and neighboring Yellowstone Park.
Through vibrant, engaging exhibits in science, history, culture and art, Museum of the Rockies inspires lifelong learning in visitors of all ages. At MOR, young and old can stand toe-to-toe with a 65-million-year-old T. rex, travel through the universe to explore a distant planet, or experience what life was like in Montana more than 100 years ago – learning not just about the exhibits themselves, but also about this amazing world we all share.
We support Manhattan Christian School in a variety of ways, including the annual Dutch Supper & Tulip Mania Auction each year. A traditional Dutch buffet is served and both silent and live auctions take place with a wide variety of goods and services up for auction. Manhattan Christian School’s goal is to develop knowledgeable and competent discipleship among their students. The school was started in 1907 by a group of parents who wished to provide their children with a quality education from a Biblical perspective.
The annual Music on Main summer concert series is held in Historic Downtown Bozeman. Music on Main is a free community event hosted by the Downtown Bozeman Association and nearly 100% funded by business sponsorships. At Music on Main you can enjoy outstanding live music from popular local and regional bands, grab a bite to eat from food vendors, and stop by some local non-profit booths for family activities.
Huffing For Stuffing brings the community together to support our neighbors who rely on the Gallatin Valley Food Bank during a time of great need by providing a heart-healthy, family-oriented, fun run. Event proceeds benefit HRDC’s Gallatin Valley Food Bank. During the last ten years, Huffing For Stuffing has donated over $352,000 to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. Thanks to community wide support they are able to do profoundly good work — fight hunger and feed families.
Heroes and Horses is a reintegration program that uses the remote wilderness and the horse/human connection to challenge and inspire personal growth in veterans suffering from mental and physical scars. Experienced instructors lead teams of veterans and their pack animals into the wilderness on epic, life-changing journeys of discovery. Heroes and Horses inspires veterans to move beyond the difficulties experienced from years of war, towards a life of restoration and hope.
The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations, providing programs for young people that build character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develops personal fitness. For more than 100 years, Boy Scouts of America has helped build future leaders by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun.
For nearly 38 years, HAVEN has been dedicated to providing quality service and advocacy for all domestic violence survivors in need. These services include survivor advocacy, legal advocacy, individual counseling, emergency shelter, a 24-hour support line, three support groups, and Community Education. These services are all vital to both intervention and prevention of domestic violence in the Gallatin Valley.

A healthy downtown is a symbol of Economic Health, Quality of Life, Local Pride and Community History & Identity, all of which are examples of what make Bozeman, Montana unique and one of the most livable communities in the country. They invite you to walk the streets of Downtown Bozeman, breathe the fresh mountain air and enjoy all of our downtown amenities.
The Bozeman Stampede is a non-profit local PRCA rodeo in Bozeman, MT. This three day event contains all your favorite rodeo action and benefits local youth Ag organizations. It was started in 2010 by a handful of Bozemanites with the intension of bringing back a sanctioned rodeo to Bozeman for the first time in over 50 years. Their goal is to provide a fun community event that benefits Bozeman business and community both culturally and economically, and raises money for quality local Ag groups.
Since 2001, the Downtown Bozeman Association has hosted the “Cruisin on Main” Car Show in historic Downtown Bozeman. It has become a premier, state-wide event celebrating classic cars, trucks & motorcycles. Since 2011, they have partnered with the Cancer Support Community to raise awareness of the support offered to all people affected by cancer. Together they have raised over $98,000!
The Downtown Bozeman Association, MSU Athletics, MSU Alumni Association, Montana State University and ASMSU host the annual Bobcat Fest on Main! It’s a gathering of MSU students, faculty and the Bozeman community on Main Street in Downtown Bozeman to celebrate MSU being an essential part of the Bozeman Community.
Central Valley Fire District is in the heart of beautiful Gallatin County, Montana. CVFD provides all risk fire, rescue, and emergency medical services for 36,000 citizens residing in a two-hundred-square-mile area including Belgrade, River Rock, Valley Center, Four Corners, Springhill, Reece Creek, and Dry Creek communities. Within the boundaries of the District are expansive agricultural, wild land and recreation areas, large single-family homes and multi-family residential subdivisions, and a vibrant growing business community. The District is home to the International Bozeman-Yellowstone Airport and is bisected by a major interstate highway (I-90) and the Montana Rail Link railroad.
Hyalite Rural Fire District exists to provide high quality and high value Fire, Rescue, Emergency Medical Services, and general assistance to our customers while nurturing a dedicated, honest, compassionate, and self-disciplined Team of Responders. Hyalite Fire District has three stations. The Sourdough Station, The Cottonwood Station and the Rae Station.
In honor of the community’s Dutch heritage, Amsterdam Elementary School and Manhattan Christian School have joined together to put on the Dutch Dash for Education to support both schools. There are both a 5K and 10K event to walk/run the hills through beautiful Churchill to support the community’s schools.
Spreading Free Smiles Across the Gallatin Valley. Dr. McClung from Big Sky Dental Center hosts Dentistry From The Heart, providing free dental care to patients over the age of 18 who cannot get dental care elsewhere. The services provided by Dentistry From The Heart helps more than just a patients teeth, it gives them a renewed reason to smile. Since its inception in 2001, Dentistry From The Heart has grown to include more than 200 annual events nationwide and provided more than 45,000 people with free dental care services.
The Half Circle Ranch, headquartered in Belgrade MT, provides a free gun range for past military members and they have Calvinist Cadets teaching them about the outdoors and how to shoot. The ranch also raises Grass Fed Montana Piedmontese Beef.
Child Care Connections is the only child care resource and referral agency in Gallatin, Park, Meagher, Broadwater, Jefferson, and Lewis and Clark Counties. Research demonstrates that consistent nurturing child care, with good parenting, helps children develop to their full potential. Child Care Connections supports families and the local economy by encouraging quality child care and safety.
We support the Bozeman Color Me Fun Run. Funds raised go to arts and fitness programs in area schools but the benefits of a fun day of color and family fitness for our racers cannot be understated!
The Cody Dieruf Benefit Foundation for Cystic Fibrosis is uniting communities and families living with Cystic Fibrosis by raising awareness, providing emotional and financial assistance, encouraging health management, and inspiring life experiences. They serve Gallatin, Madison, Carbon, Park and Broadwater counties in Montana.
The Montana Brewers Association was created in 2008 and is a statewide association of breweries organized for the purpose of promoting the production and sales of the freshest and highest quality Montana made beers.
We support the AALRM Run for Recovery. Alive Again Life Recovery Mission exists for the purpose of creating a safe Christian environment for individuals of all ages to fellowship, learn and heal from addiction and addiction-related effects.
The Manhattan Volunteer Fire Department is a non-profit organization that serves the community of Manhattan, MT, with emergency services.
Montana Raptor Conservation Center’s mission is to improve the welfare of raptors across Montana through rehabilitation of injured birds, community education, and partnerships for raptor conservation and research. Founded in 1988, the Montana Raptor Conservation Center, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
The Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Equestrian Team is a club sport that is a part of the MSU Horseman’s Association. The team competes in the IHSA Region 8 Zone 3. Traveling throughout Montana, Idaho and Utah students compete in events such as English Equitation Flat and Fences and Western Equitation and Reining.
